monday

 On today all we did was read fence. We got threw some of the book its good so far. That's all we really did. We talked while we read but not that much.

 Today in class we started off by taking a test, It was five questions. After we answered them we went over them with the whole class. Then we started back reading the " Color Purple". While we read we had to wright down the theme of each poem. And then we watched the scenes of what we read.

reading a poem.

 Today I read a poem called Mother to Son by Langston Hughes. It was a good poem, it talked about a mother talking to her son about life. I had to answer some questions about the poem after i read. In the poem she told him not to turn his back. It reminded me of when my mom told me not to turn my back on life.
